DESCRIPTION

It is well-known that Lean UX can help us design and deliver great products in a healthy environment, but how that actually can work is a very large company is less obvious. This talk is about the journey me and my team went though, when joining IBM we were able to leverage a new corporate culture of design and a new approach and framework called IBM Design Thinking. This allowed us to remain focused and scale to the IBM sales workforce and maximize business impact.

Principles and Core Practices

Collaborate, Align, Engage!

Playbacks align your team, stakeholders, and clients around the user value you will

deliver, rather than project line items

Envision the User Experience

Sponsor Users help you design experiences for real target users,

rather than imagined needs

Invest for Market Outcomes

Hills focus your project on big problems and outcomes for users,

not just a list of feature requests
