Get Prepared

Clean Up Existing Captiva System

• Check for old batches, which can cause problems when updating

• Zero priority batches

• Task with error status

• Locked batches

• Old incomplete batches

• 7.1 Update process will update the Captiva Database

• Create backup copy of current Captiva Database

• Run 7.1 database update program against this back up copy and check for any errors

• Scripts or Batch files to cleanly shutdown and restart on Captiva modules on all servers

• Shutdown Module services first

• Shutdown Captiva Server

• Apply updates

• Start Captiva Servers

• Start all module services

• Check all modules are connected
