Managing Traditional Devices 1. Hundreds of devices, hardware specs and driver combinations
2. Manage GPO’s (can quickly go out of control)
3. Create a fresh OS image for each device - Test
4. Update Device Drivers - Test
5. Bind to Active Directory - Test
6. Install School Software (ideally after each title and update) - Test
7. Add devices to the correct security groups - Test
8. Test each type of user - Student & Staff
9. Deploy
10. Deal with teething issues!
