  • The following are the screens you need to go through when you first turn on your new Xiaomi

    Mi 3:

    When you flip through the home screens on your Mi 3, the apps in the bottom tray left unmoved.

    The bottom tray is designed to let users access their favorite or frequent-used apps quickly.

    By default, the bottom tray on your Mi 3 comes with only 4 apps (Phone, Contacts, Browser and

    Messaging). But the good news is that you can add more.

    The bottom tray can actually have a maximum of 5 apps. To add one more, you just need to drag

    an app from the home screen to that area.

    , then you can create a folder to group your most-used apps and put it in

    the bottom tray. Now, that should be enough for you.

    1. On your Mi 3, find and launch the Contacts app. 2. Tap the Menu button > Settings > Display preferences. 3. Slide the Show SIM contacts switch to the right. 4. Tap Configure contact lists, then select SIM card.

    5. Get back to the contacts list. 6. Now, you should see all the contacts that are saved in the SIM card. 7. Long tap a contact, then hit Delete.

  • 8. On the confirmation prompt, hit Delete again.

    iv. To transfer contacts from SIM card to Google Contacts/Xiaomi Contacts:

    1. On your Mi 3, find and launch the Contacts app. 2. Tap the Menu button > Import/export. 3. Tap Import from SIM card.

    4. On the Create contact under account prompt, select the account you want the contacts to be

    transferred/copied to.
