• iPad’s launch in 2010 not the first attempt • AT&T, Palm, Microsoft, Apple all tried to sell

tablets throughout the 1990’s and 2000’s

• Mobile learning (m-learning): Any learning that is supported or delivered by a handheld or mobile device
