Purpose

• The Purpose of MVDP is to create a sustainable program to develop Mohaka Village – Kenya, This Program would be a role model for similar projects in different Islamic countries.

• This program can be replicated for other villages as well.

Scope

The scope of this program is:Kenya, Mombasa area, Muhaka Village

with the following information

• Resources Profile– Age profile– Education profile– Physical fitness profile– Skills

• Beneficiaries– A person– A group of people (Family)– Part of the community (School children,

teenagers, households, etc…)

• Cost– Material cost– Overhead cost– Other costs (Official Permission, etc..)

• No. of resources (Professional/Volunteers)

Benefit/Cost ratio: = (no. of beneficiaries * Impact factor)/Cost“High Benefit/Cost ratio Highest priority (highest impact with least cost)”

• No. of resources 3 Professionals / 20*2 volunteers

Benefit/Cost ratio: = (no. of beneficiaries * Impact factor)/Cost=[(200*5*0.75)+(5,000*3*0.25)]/6,500= 0.7

• Project Duration: 2 Months
