DAVID T. CHASTAIN,MICHAEL HARRIS,MICHAEL LEE FIRKINS,RITCHIE KOTZEN,JAMES BYRD,STEPHEN ROSS,MARTY FRIEDMAN Y MUCHOS MAS.

Performance Notes
Hi my name is Moises Olvera Im a Mexican Guitarist. The Hirajoshi scale is a Japanese Scale that is similar to the minor scale or Aeolian mode but just without the 4th and the 7th degrees, this means by example:the minor scale formula is 1,2,b3,4,5,b6,b7The Hirajoshi scale is:1,2,b3,5,b6In the tonality of A minor, this scale is spelled:A,B,C,E,FIs a pentatonic scale and now we will to practice it a little ,The Hirajoshi scale has five modes, its names are :IWATO,,HON KUMOI SHIOUZHI, RAGA AMRITAVARSINI, and KUMOI.This is developed afther exploring the modes of this scale.others exotic scales are.HUNGARIAN GYPSY MINOR= 1,2,b3,#4,5,b6,7PERSIAN=1,b2,3,4,b5,b6,7
First we will to see some positions on tha A minor tonality and then we will to develop some sequences on the same tonality,Then we will to make some licks and ideas that we will memorize to help in developing melodic patterns.we must to develop melodic patterns on this scale to use it when we are phrasing on a song or theme,
