MESSAGE FROM THE PRINCIPAL

At Arnolds Creek Primary School we pride ourselves on high expectations from all of our community. The new playground at Arnolds Creek Reserve has opened and it has created a few issues with our students. Please be aware that it is your parental responsibility to look after your child. Children are at the playground without adult supervision before and after school. The world has changed and unfortunately in the last few weeks there have been two indecent assaults in our area. We don’t want any of our community to be put at risk. Drive Through – The development of our drive through (drop off and pick up) will start in the next couple of weeks. We will let you know via Flexibuzz when it starts and when it is due to be finished. This will cause some disruption to Weeks Ave for a few weeks but it will be beneficial in the end. Last week we were mentioned in the Victorian Parliament by Steve McGhie MP. You can go to our Facebook page to see what was said. Our school has also been mentioned in an educational conference in Queensland for the use of our Proficiency Scales throughout the school. Congratulations to all our sports teams who competed in the Lightning Premiership and Gala Day finishing with plenty of pennants. Also while I’m on sports well done to Murphy O’Conner for making the State Championships in Cross Country. Communication - Please be aware that all our messages are communicated via Flexibuzz so you can keep up to date with what is happening in the school. We pride ourselves on open communication if you have an issue with anything please come in and see us - MY DOOR IS ALWAYS OPEN. Frank Pawlowicz

It is fantastic to see many parents and guardians now using FlexiBuzz.

It is an excellent form of communication and a great way to keep up to date with everything that is happening within the school.

FlexiBuzz is a free app that is available to download on all phones and tablets.

When you do download the app please ensure that you search for Arnolds Creek Primary School and tick the relevant boxes. We also suggest that you tick the Whole School box as well as information that is relevant to everyone will be

posted here.

FlexiBuzz also has the ability to have parents send absence notifications for your child/children to the school. This is a great way to inform us that they will be absent and provide a necessary reason. You will find this feature on the main

screen of the Whole School box.

We have now also implemented the Calendar section of the app which means you can access events and important dates coming up. FlexiBuzz will also send reminders prior to these events and dates.

If you require any further assistance with FlexiBuzz please feel free to ask the office or your child’s home group teacher.
