DEUTERONOMY 28:1-14

Word of GOD:

Deu 28:1 If you fully obey the LORD your God and carefully follow all his

commands I give you today, the LORD your God will set you high above all the nations on earth.

Deu 28:2 All these blessings will come upon you and accompany you

if you obey the LORD your God:

Our Father in heaven through the Lord Jesus Christ has the

nature to bless.

Our God, Yahweh the God of Abraham,

Isaac and Jacob, the God of Israel

is the Great Jireh the God who provides and the

Yahweh El Shaddai who loves to bless.

Our God Yahweh blesses the whole earth

Our Father blesses those who believe in

Him

Our God Yahweh promises to bless His people with miracles and breakthroughs

when there is obedience.

DEUTERONOMY 28:1-14

lists the promises of blessings our God Yahweh to those who fully obey Him.

These blessings are like in a locked treasure chest.

You have to unlock the treasure chest to be able to get these blessings of God.

You need a key to unlock the CHEST OF GOD'S BLESSINGS

OBEDIENCE IS THE KEY TO GET

GOD'S BLESSINGS.

1.) Deuteronomy 28:4 The fruit of your womb will be blessed, and the crops of your land and the young of your livestock--the calves of your herds and the lambs of your flocks.

6.) Deuteronomy 28:11 The LORD will grant you abundant prosperity--in the fruit of your womb, the young of your livestock and the crops of your ground--in the land he swore to your forefathers to give you.

Deuteronomy 28:12 The LORD will open the heavens, the storehouse of his bounty, to send rain on your land in season and to bless all the work of your hands. You will lend to many nations but will borrow from none.

who heard and rebelled? Were they not all those Moses led out of Egypt?

• Hebrews 3:17 And with whom was he angry for forty years? Was it not with those who sinned, whose bodies fell in the desert?• Hebrews 3:18 And to whom did God

swear that they would never enter his rest if not to those who disobeyed[3]?• Hebrews 3:19 So we see that they

were not able to enter, because of their unbelief.

OBEDIENCE TO THE 12 BIBLICAL HABITS

IS A STRUGGLE.

•SATAN DOES NOT WANT YOU OBEY THE 12 HABITS.•SATAN PLACED A LOT OF ARGUMENTS IN THE MIND.

• 2Corinthians 10:4 The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds.

• 2Corinthians 10:5 We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.

• Ephesians 2:2 in which you used to live when you followed the ways of this world and of the ruler of the kingdom of the air, the spirit who is now at work in those who are disobedient.

FOUR THINGS TO DO TO OBEY GOD

1.) LOVE GOD PASSIONATELY

• 1John 5:3 This is love for God: to obey his commands. And his commands are not burdensome,• 1John 5:3 (TMSG ) The proof that we

love God comes when we keep his commandments and they are not at all troublesome.

2.) DAILY RENOUNCE DISOBEDIENCE TO

GOD IN PRAYER

• Psalms 139:23 (CEV) Look deep into my heart, God, and find out everything I am thinking. • Psalms139:24 Don't let me follow

evil ways, but lead me in the way that time has proven true.

• Matthew 6:9 "This, then, is how you should pray: " 'Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name,• Matthew 6:10 your kingdom come

your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.• Matthew 6:13 And lead us not

into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.

3.) HANG OUT OFTEN WITH CHRISTIAN FRIENDS WHO ARE

SERIOUSLY OBEYING GOD AND HIS WORDS

• Proverbs 27:17 As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another.• (CJB) Just as iron sharpens iron, a

person sharpens the character of his friend.

NOTE: ATTENDING CELL MEETING WILL GIVE YOU ENCOURAGEMENTS TO OBEY GOD

• Hebrews 10:25 Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another--and all the more as you see the Day approaching.

• 1Corinthians 15:33 Do not be misled: "Bad company corrupts good character.“

• (AMP) Do not be so deceived and misled! Evil companionships (communion, associations) corrupt and deprave good manners and morals and character.

4.) DAILY SEEK THE HELP AND EMPOWERMENT OF THE HOLY

SPIRIT TO OBEY GOD AND HIS WORDS

• Zechariah 4:6 (CEV) So the angel explained that it was the following message of the LORD to Zerubbabel: I am the LORD All-Powerful. So don't depend on your own power or strength, but on my Spirit.

• Ezekiel 36:27

And I will put my Spirit in you and move you to follow my decrees

and be careful to keep my laws.

not be foolish, but understand what the Lord's will is.

• Ephesians 5:18 Do not get drunk on wine, which leads to debauchery. Instead, be filled with the Spirit.

CONCLUSION:• Hebrews 10:35 So do not throw

away your confidence; it will be richly rewarded.• Hebrews 10:36 You need to

persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised.
