Arguments for online feedback

• Quicker

• Greener

• Easier

• Everyone else is doing it

• Leading indicator

• JIT teaching

• Non attenders included.

Arguments against online feedback

• Current system adequate.

• Lower response rate.

• Survey fatigue.

• Difficult to access data.

• Management support??

Pilot study

• 5 large modules

• Run just before Easter break

• Used Bristol online survey

• Similar questions to SFQs

• 2 optional questions

• 3 written questions

• Appeared that only “good” lecturers were open to participating.
