Locates can be requested by

Phone • For Emergencies and all priorities

Web • Maximum 12 hour turn around time

Direct Ticket Entry • Immediately routed to the infrastructure owner

Fax • Maximum 24 hour turn around time

How ON1Call Works

ON1Call obtains the following information from the excavator

• Contact information

• Dig location

• Type of work

• Work to begin date

The excavator is provided with a list of utilities that ON1Call contacts on their behalf

The notification(ticket) is sent to the utility and /or 3rd party locator

How can the ticket be sent to the utility?

• Email / FTP

• Emergency Locates

- Usually followed up by phone dispatch

How does ON1Call know which members to notify?

• Members provide asset locations

• Members information is integrated into the ON1Call system

• Excavators tell ON1Call where they are digging

• ON1Call system compares these two pieces of information and determines if a locate is required

• Members with assets in the dig area that

need to be located are notified

– Notification routing

– Any filtering options
