Parent Survey 2012

Parent Online Survey 2012In 2012 the decision was made to offer our parents the chance to participate in an online survey to seek their views and opinions about how the school is performing in a number of key areas.

Survey Monkey was the school’s preferred choice of online survey creator.

The survey was online for 6 weeks.

Parent Online Survey 2012171 respondents took park in this survey.

69.6% of the respondents were NZ European, 9.9% NZ Maori, 5.3% Samoan, Greek and Indian 3.5%, Chinese 2.3%, African 1.8%, Cook Island Maori and Fijian 1.2%, Filipino Iraqi and Other European 0.6%

49% of the respondents had children in the Junior School, 33% in the Middle School and 37% in the Senior School. Some respondents had children in more than one area

of the school

Question 3Respondents who identified their children as being New Zealand Maori or Pasifika (Fijian, Fijian Indian, Tongan, Cook Island Maori, Niuean, or Samoan.) were given the opportunity to answer questions to gauge what they believe it means to be successful as a NZ Maori or Pasifika student at Lyall Bay School
