Heading

January 6th, 2001

The heading of a letter should contain the return address, which includes the street address on one line, followed by the city, state and zip code

on the next line. The third line is the date.

Greeting

Dear Jolly Roger, <--- Greeting The greeting means “hello”. Usually, all of the

words, which are a part of the greeting, are

capitalized. A comma follows the greeting.

Body

Let me tell you some of the reasons I hope you will find the treasure.…… Body--->

The body of the letter contains the main text or

message. Each paragraph should be indented.

Closing

Closing ---> Sincerely, The closing means “good-bye”. The first word of

the closing begins with a capital letter. A comma

follows the closing

Signature

Signature ---> Jean Roger The signature tells who wrote the letter.

Friendly Letter

Let me tell you some of the reasons I hope you
