OVER THE COUNTRY: IN NORTHERN AND

CENTRAL ITALY THERE IS A CONCENTRATION OF 60% OF ALL FIRMS, 75% OF ALL EMPLOYEES AND 80% OF

VA OF THE ITALIAN FOOD INDUSTRY.

EXPANSION OF THE INDUSTRY IN THE

SOUTH WOULD APPEAR TO BE A

STRATEGIC PRIORITY.
