Complete the Registration Process Go to PTCB.org Click on the Apply for Certification Link

Complete the Registration Process

Begin the online application process: Click the online option under the Apply section.

Complete the Registration Process Before applying for your Certification, you must register with the PTCB. Click New User: Register Now

EmailEnter your email address & confirm. Click Continue.

NameNote- you must enter your name exactly how it appears on your identification card (driver’s license). Document your user name and password for future use. Click Continue.

Complete the Registration Process Terms & Conditions

Read and accept the Terms & Conditions. Click the hyperlink to read the policy, and then check the box. Click Continue.

Complete the Registration Process Telephone

Enter Business Phone Information. Click Continue.

Mailing AddressEnter Home Address Information- This is where they will mail your Certified License. Click Continue.

Complete the Registration Process Billing Address

Because we are using a Baxter Pro Card, we need to enter Baxter’s address for billing information. Click Continue.1 Baxter ParkwayDeerfield, IL 60015

Complete the Registration Process Education

Have you completed, or are you currently enrolled in, a pharmacy technician training program? = Click YesChoose Illinois from the State drop down menuChoose MK Education in the Training Program drop downEmploymentAre you currently employed as a pharmacy technician? = If working in Call Center, Click YesChoose Illinois from the State drop down menuChoose Other from the Advocate Employer drop down menuClick Continue.

Complete the Registration Process Account Set Up Completed. Now you must Apply for Certification.

Click the Apply for Certification Hyperlink.

Applying for Certification Candidate Agreement

Read the E-Sign Candidate Agreement and check the “I agree to the Candidate Agreement above: box.Click Continue.

Applying for Certification

Education RequirementsCheck the “I hold a high school diploma, GED or equivalent” box.Click Continue.

Applying for Certification SponsorshipAre you sponsored? = No

Click Continue.

Applying for Certification Payment** Select Pay by Credit Card- a team member will be around to enter the Baxter Payment information

(We will be using a Baxter ProCard and we must work with Cori Stueck during the payment portion)

Confirmation A confirmation screen will appear as the system processes the information. Validate the information.Click Submit Payment.

Applying for Certification Payment ReceiptPrint Payment Receipt for your records. An order confirmation will be mailed to you. From this screen, you will:

Scheduling Your Exam Online Services Sign InEnter your Username and Password (These are provided in an email – see next screenshot)

Through your certification with PTCB, you will receive a confirmation email from PearsonVue. This email provides you with a user name and password to login

Scheduling Your Exam Change PasswordYou will be prompted to change your password. Be sure to document your Username and Password for future use.
