 Part 1 & 2 Develop concepts for digital photographs for a media product from a brief

Shoot plan

Working in the same groups present a pitch and accompanying power point for your photo shoot. Images must include both interior and exterior shots.

It must include: • Location • Types of shots • Equipment needed • Lighting • Reasons for choice • Alternatives considered • Health and Safety considerations • How files will be saved   Learners must also complete a risk assessment  

Aim of shoot

Write here what you hope to achieve.Eg , to produce a range of photographs to be

used as part of a “Guide to the City” for new students moving to the area. The images will be used in a pull out full colour guide and on their website.

Research 8 possible locations around Manchester City Centre

Search for things to do in Manchester

4 must be internal locations and 4 must be external

Find some pictures of places you have found

Resources

What resources will you need to complete your project;

Eg DSRL camera, tripod, map of Manchester, list of locations, Manchester A-Z, SD card.

Find examples of their work

Describe their styleSay how you will use

their style in your work

Do this for at 3 photographers, do a power point slide on each one
