Plain Talk… Isaiah 1:18 18 Come now, and let us reason together,

saith the Lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.

Malachi 3: 14 Ye have said, It is vain to serve God: and what profit is it that we

have kept his ordinance, and that we have walked mournfully before the Lord of hosts?

15 And now we call the proud happy; yea, they that work wickedness are set up; yea, they that tempt God are even delivered.

16 Then they that feared the Lord spake often one to another: and the Lord hearkened, and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before him for them that feared the Lord, and that thought upon his name.

17 And they shall be mine, saith the Lord of hosts, in that day when I make up my jewels; and I will spare them, as a man spareth his own son that serveth him.

18 Then shall ye return, and discern between the righteous and the wicked, between him that serveth God and him that serveth him not

Gal. 6:7-8 7 Be not deceived; God is not mocked:

for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.

8 For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.

The Present reveals much about our past!

The old story of the stage driver who was so profane that the people who traveled with him marveled at his profanity when he led such a hazardous life. They wondered that he would risk blasphemy. They talked of Christ, only to hear His name blasphemed. Some People who came to like him urged him to become a Christian, but he resisted all pleas. At last he came to the end. He was dying. They thought that he had gone, when suddenly they saw one foot moving and they heard him say in a whisper: "I am on the down grade and I can't find the brake.“

Some day, some day, men and women who have resisted God, spurned His love, and trampled it beneath their feet, will come to their end and they will not be able to find the brake.

Be not deceived. God is not mocked. For whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.

Gal. 6:7 "Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man

soweth, that shall he also reap." Stop a minute and think about God. He is infinite. He is eternal. He is omnipotent. And if you resist Him to the end, His power

must be against you. He is omniscient. He knows what we are thinking about and

what we are doing. What we say and do is written, and one day the books will be opened.

He is omnipresent.He is everywhere. . He sees you in the darkness of the night and in the brightness of the noonday. He is always about you. Think of His greatness. He holds the winds in the hollow of His hands. He speaks and it is done.

Be not deceived..God is not mocked. “ Be not deceived. God is not mocked. For

whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.”

It is written plainly in God's Word. It is proved by experience. We shall reap if we sow. Sow a thought and you reap an act. Sow an act and you reap a habit. Sow a habit and you reap a character. Sow a character and you reap a destiny. It is written in God's Word that we shall reap what we sow.

Look at the life of David: 2 Sam. 11:1ff What he did! How he handled it> “I have sinned” 2

Sam. 12:5 What God did! “I have put away your

sin”

13 And David said unto Nathan, I have sinned against the Lord. And Nathan said unto David, The Lord also hath put away thy sin; thou shalt not die.

14 Howbeit, because by this deed thou hast given great occasion to the enemies of the Lord to blaspheme, the child also that is born unto thee shall surely die.

I have put away your sin 1. Admit your sin…to God, to others. “Confess your sins” Jas. 5:16; I John 1:9 2. Change your life. If you have been Forsaking the assemblies…do something about

it…Ask God to forgive you…and start attending faithfully. I Cor. 16:13

3. Cursing…quit…do something about it Mtt.12:36,37

4. Unkind. Change. Eph. 4:32

Let Joseph’s statement ring in your heart and mind and soul: “How can I do this great wickedness and sin against my God!”

7 And it came to pass after these things, that his master's wife cast her eyes upon Joseph; and she said, Lie with me.

8 But he refused, and said unto his master's wife, Behold, my master wotteth not what is with me in the house, and he hath committed all that he hath to my hand;

9 There is none greater in this house than I; neither hath he kept back any thing from me but thee, because thou art his wife: how then can I do this great wickedness, and sin against God?

Plain Talk…. If you are not a Christian, you are lost. You have no hope beyond the grave. There is no second chance for you. 2 Pet. 3:9 God is not willing that any

should perish but that all should come to repentance.

If you cannot be touched by the gospel, Really nothing will. It is God’s power to save. Rom. 1:16 In ‘Plain Talk’ you may never have Another opportunity to obey God!.
