Creative brief

Target market: Men and women ages 21-30. They drink fairly regularly with their friends. On occasion they serve as the designated driver and drink non-alcoholic beverages for the night.

CampaigN goal: Gain awareness for the brand and increase sales within the target market through an online promotion.

CampaigN aNd PromotioN Overview: People do stupid things when they are drunk. The designated driver may not be able to get drunk with their friends, but they have the pleasure of watching the stupid things their friends do over the course of the night. A lot of these experiences are documented with pictures and videos. Going off this idea, O’Doul’s is offering customers who act as the designated driver to document their night and get rewarded for it. Rewards include Odouls gear for weekly featured drivers and a Jeep Grand Cherokee for the overall grand prize winner.

The splash page is displayed once the app is downloaded. It shows up one time only and once the user logs in, it will not pop up again.

It asks for the users date of birth.

The home page allows the user to decide which pages of the app they want to navigate to. The bottom of every other page contains the Odouls logo which when clicked allows the user to get back to the homepage.

The profile page is where the user can update their designated driver profile via their cell phone. On this page they can change their profile picture, add photos and videos to their DD stream, and access their Foursquare account,

There will be two other pages off of the profile page. The “My Photos” and “My Videos” pages display all of the current photos and videos that have been uploaded on the user’s profile.

This page in the app allows the user to enter their current location for a list of free Designated Drivers in their area. This service is only offered to registered users.
