It isn’t worth worrying about things at night. Use this time to be care free.

Don’t fight going to the restroom during the night. The longer you fight it the more awake you make yourself.

Right before bed do 30 min. of Yoga & Stretching

What does it take for your mind and body to relax?

Give yourself a constant sound to fall asleep to: Use a fan, humidifier, T.V. on low volume, etc.

Put your mindset into a story. Guide your thoughts to something relaxing: Laying on the

beach, taking a bath, etc.

To “feel” like you are sleeping on your back or your stomach, build a “nest” of pillows. This way you can be on your side but have pillows where you need them to make you “feel” as though you are lying on your back or stomach.

Breath slow & deep. Calm your mind. Count your breaths. See how few breaths you can take within a min.(By the way holding your breath is cheating)

Spend 30 min “reliving” or “visualizing” your day. Write in a journal for 30 min. Pray to God and let go of your worries to him. Talk with your spouse or sleeping partner about your day.

(If you aren’t religious find some “higher power” to speak to: Mother Nature, Zen, Karma, etc.)

Spend at least 10 min. a day exercising. This can be as simple as a 10 min. walk. When Fitness is in your life your body’s chemicals are more balanced.

There are lots of Natural Herbs and Elements to help one sleep. If you are Pregnant or Breast Feeding make sure before you try any that you talk with your Doctor and Physician FIRST.

Some herbs & elements are:

Melatonin, Lemon Balm, Passion Flower, G.A.B.A., Valerian Root.
