Italian Festival Weeks ends with a grand finale

THE CLOSING CEREMONY of the Italian Festival weeks recently took place at the Armani Hotle, Burj Khalifa, Dubai. Dur-ing the event, which saw 220 guests attend, a charitable auction was held which raised Dhs30,000 for the United Nations World Food Programme.

The Marie Tec-nimont Group (Abu Dhabi) was also award-ed the most successful Italian enterprise in the UAE for winning the tender towards

the construction of the first railway in the Arabian Peninsula by the Ethihad Railway Company.

The evening was rounded off with the top three Italian restaurants in the UAE being awarded their respective positions in the Ospitalita Italiana project. In ascending order, Filini at the Radisson Blu, Yas Island, La Bussola at the Westin Dubai and Rococo at the Sofitel, Jumeirah Beach, Dubai took the prizes.
