‘PRIDE OF KARNATAKA 2020’

Round Table India

• Round Table India is an influential HNI network of likeminded 4000+

businessmen/professionals, generally between 25 and 40 years age group. It is

spread across 95 towns and cities in India.

• The aim is to promote service, fellowship and goodwill in National/ International

affairs

• We are a zero overhead organisation and fully utilise all the funds received from

donors and those we raise through fundraising efforts into these developmental

projects.

• Round Table India has declared its long term project as “Freedom through

Education” under which it provides infrastructure for primary education in rural India.

Ladies Circle India

• Ladies Circle India Known as LC India, is non-political and non-sectarian Organization

open only to the wives of members Round Table. It Offers Opportunities for serving

the community, for fostering friendships between like-minded young women.

• Round Table India and Ladies Circle India have already built more than 6189

classrooms in 2588 schools, across the country, spending more than RS.245 crores,

touching the lives of around 6.8 million children.

• We have built classrooms and provided sanitation facilities across 90+ cities in India

and focussed on growing this movement to reach more children. The members

personally visit and assess the school’s needs and requirements before adopting a

school under this program.

Shiksha Deep

• Shiksha Deep (Empowering Lives through Education) scholarship program

aims at educating deserving meritorious children from economically

backward background.

– More specifically from the registered Hamali community; who are registered with CITU.

• The F.R. Singhvi trust that founded this program reached out to Round

Table and Ladies Circle to expand this project many folds.

• The program has benefitted more than 15 districts of Karnataka, aiding

more than 1,000 students from Class 10 till their PHD courses in the last 10

years.

Shiksha Deep

• With Shiksha Deep project Round Table India (BRT7) & Ladies Circle India (LC19) are

in the process of digitising and streamlining the entire application process,

disbursement of funds and tracking of students progress.

• This year we wish to educate 750 (verified) students out of the 1000 applications

received by way of sponsorship as below:-

– Diamond Donor - 50 L

– Sapphire Donor - 25 L

– Emerald - 10 L

– Ruby - 5 L

– Pearl - 2 L

• All donations are covered under 80G certification.

• ‘Pride of Karnataka’ Award is ‘Round Table India’ and ‘Ladies Circle India’s’

annual initiative to honor individuals who have significantly contributed in their

own fields and brought laurels to the State.

• A five-member jury from Round Table India choose the recipients for the awards

based on their achievements and their contribution to their respective fields.

• The function is held in a 5 Star Hotel in Bangalore every year and has been

attended by members of the society as well as the Media in huge numbers.

• The event has been gaining popularity in Bangalore and is publicized widely by

all kinds of Media.
