PROGRESS OF CONTENTS PAGE

This is the original picture that I used to put on my contents page. I decided to not have the star’s face in the image.

I decided to change the colour of the background to white and place the star to the left of the page rather than in the middle so that there would be enough space to insert the information about the contents.

I decided to add a ‘G’ behind the head of the star using the same font as the masthead. I did this branding as the letter G is the first letter of the masthead.

I then added the title of ‘contents’ to make it clear to the reader that this is the contents page and I added the page numbers and small summary of the content of the articles inside the magazine.

To make it clear that this issue of the magazine is predominantly about the star I made the page number of the article bigger and placed away from the rest of the contents and on the image of the star.
