HOLIDAYS HOMEWORK Classes 1 – 10 and RR
Dear Parent,
Learning Treasure: Learn two new words (classes 1 & 2) and 5 to 8 words (classes 3 to 10) each day during the summer break. Try to use them in your conversation every day.
Speaking in only English should be compulsory for at least 2 hours a day at home.
Should use 3 magic words in your daily conversation. (Thank You, Sorry, Please).
Wish all family members after getting up and before going to bed without fail. Keep wishing all elders you come across every day.
Sharing & Caring: Should spend some time with your parents / grandparents playing or simply making normal conversation to enhance the bond amongst you all. Reading is Fun:
Read 2 or more story books / Novels during your vacation.
Stay Positive Work Hard:
Do exercise regularly and eat healthy food.
Avoid video games, instead must learn to play interesting games like scrabble, dictionary etc.
Limit watching TV to selected programmes for one hour maximum.
Encourage Self Responsibility:
Make bed and clean your room daily.
Water the plants daily.
Learn to be self dependent.
Help in putting laundry to dry, folding them and arranging them in cupboards.
Help in laying the table and serving to the guests.

Cook up an easy menu: Once in a while invite yourselves to the kitchen and take mom’s help and whip up a special dish. More we share, the more we have: Donate food or clothes to the needy or poor to spread the joy of sharing. Visit to a new place: Visit and experience a new place and narrate it to the class when you come back to school. Revision is must: Keep revising a little everyday whatever has been done in the class.
