Transport planning

• Traffic is caused by the geographical separation of functions.

• Large flows of traffic are generated by concentrations of functions and high densities.

• Public transport needs large flows to be operated economically.

ScheduleUse opportunities at stations and along PT lines• Improve accessibility• Improve quality of location• Cooperation region - municipalities• Integrated planning

– New developments along existing railway or HQPT lines bring about new passengers

– This leads to higher frequencies and higher value of the area around the stations
