Rapid response kits should be available on all sites where people are working at height or in a confined space where a person may require rescue after a fall.

All users should be trained in its operation, rapid rescue after a fall is an extremely important consideration of the possible effects of suspension trauma caused by hanging in a harness.The kits are supplied pre-rigged with a figure 8 knot on one end.

TRAINING & INSPECTION• In accordance with AS/NZS 1891.4, all users

of height safety equipment must have been trained in its safe use.

• Saferight offers a range of Nationally Recognised Height Safety, Confined Spaces and Rescue Courses.

• Items should always be visually inspected before and after each use, and undergo inspection by a competent person every six months in accordance with AS/NZS 1891.4

• Saferight offers a full inspection service for all Height Safety, Confined Spaces and Rescue equipment.
