ICTsinAgricultureAnindustryasdiverseanddetailoriented as agriculture requires, not only the acquisition of realtime information but alsoequipment that can ensure thedelivery of the said information. The information delivered mustbeuserfriendly, easilyaccessible, cost effective and encrypted to deter unauthorized access. e-Agriculture is an emerging field in this regard focusing on theenhancementofagriculturaldevelopment in thecontextofruralusage through the use of improved processes for informationgathering and communication. Hence, e-Agriculture involvesconceiving, planning, developing, evaluating and applying ground-breakingtechniquesofusingICTequipment,havingagricultureasthesolepointoffocus.
