Howard County Maryland's , Resuscitation Academy

The best v-fib survival rate in the country is 61%. Maine currently has a 22% v-fib survival rate.

With high performance CPR and strong community CPR outreach education, we may be able to in-

crease our survival rate so that 100 more people walk out of the hospital each year. This year APEMS

original King County (Seattle) Resuscitation Academy and discuss how their department has achieved

a 57% survival rate in past three years. Students will learn not only the techniques of high performance

CPR, but also the necessary system level changes necessary to improve cardiac arrest survival. This

cutting edge class is designed for all levels and we hope all of you can join us.
