4. THE POOL DECK IN ALL AREAS SHALL SLOPE AT 1/4" -3/8" PER FOOT. THE DECK CREST SHALL BE 5'-0" FROMTHE SWIMMING POOL WATER EDGE. THE DECKBETWEEN THE CREST AND THE WATER SHALL SLOPETOWARDS THE POOL. THE DECK SHALL SLOPE FROMTHE CREST AWAY FROM THE POOL DOWN TO THETRENCH DRAINS WHERE OCCUR OR TO THE PERIMETEROF THE DECK. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL SURVEY THESITE PRIOR TO STARTING CONSTRUCTION TO ENSURETHAT THE REQUIRED SLOPES CAN BE ACHIEVED.

5. THE POOL AREA SHALL BE ENCLOSED WITH A 6'-0" HIGHENCLOSURE FENCE. THE GATE ON THE NORTH SIDE OFTHE POOL AREA IS THE ONLY PUBLIC ENTRANCE. THISGATE SHALL COMPLY WITH GOVERNING HEALTH CODEREQUIREMENTS, INCLUDING SELF-CLOSING, SELF-LATCHING, EXIT DEVICE, MESH TO PREVENT ACCESSFROM REACHING THROUGH THE FENCE. THE FENCEOPENINGS SHALL NOT PERMIT THE PASSING OF A 4"SPHERE. THE FENCE SHALL BE PRE-FINISHEDORNAMENTAL METAL AND SHALL BE SIMILAR INAPPEARANCE TO THE EXISTING FENCE.

6. THE NEW LANDSCAPING, IRRIGATION, SIDEWALK(S),CART PATH AND OTHER AREAS SHALL TIE INTO THEEXISTING ELEMENTS AT THE PERIMETER OF THE WORKAREA. REFER TO THE CIVIL DRAWINGS AND LANDSCAPEPLAN FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION.
