A SAMHAIN (HALLOWEEN) STORY

When I was young I was a very quiet child and kept pretty much to myself. This is a picture of me when I was a kid.

As a teenager in the 70’s, the days of Woodstock, and rebel children, I came out of my shell some. This is a picture of me as a teenager.

When I was a young woman, you only had to be 18 to drink, which meant they would usually let you in the bar at about 16. This is a picture of my first hangover.

My grandma was a stern woman who kept a close eye on me. This is a picture of my grandma.

My ex-husband was a very angry man. This is a picture of my ex-husband.

I have four wonderful children but they sometimes make me so mad, I could bite their heads off. This is a picture of me biting their heads off.

I used to have a next door neighbor who was such a weirdo that I ended up moving. This is a picture of my next door neighbor.

Life is not easy and some people are not nice. Here are some pictures of the hard times.

I’ve owned some strange ass pets……

Had some awful boyfriends…

Done some stupid shit……

There have been times when I was left wondering if it was all worth it. This is a picture of me wondering if it was all worth it.

What doesn’t kill us makes us stronger so when life gets you down, you have to just crawl up out of the muck. Here is a picture of me crawling up out of the muck.

So, the morale of the story is this: The universe may keep everything under the sun in tune, but the sun will burn your ass, so as you lay there in sunburned pain, remember, eventually the sun WILL be eclipsed by the moon.
