The 2022 Mass Inten on Book for Corpus Chris� Parish will open on Tuesday, October 12th. Please

stop into the Gymnasium of the Religious Educa�on Building, 212 Sta�on Street, on that day between 9:00

AM and 1:00 PM to schedule your Masses. S�pend for the Mass inten�ons is $10 per Mass. Masses are lim-

ited to 2 weekend Masses and 5 weekday Masses per family. Checks are to be made out to “S�pend Account.” A�er this date,

you can stop into the Parish Office to schedule Masses. Please note, if you send in wri3en requests for Masses ahead of �me,

they will only be entered into the Mass book a5er this date. Wri3en requests are not regarded as first come, first served. �

We are also scheduling the 2022 sanctuary candles for all three church buildings. Sanctuary candles are also $10 for the week

they burn. Those checks are to be made out to “Corpus Chris� Parish.” �

You can put your wri3en requests along with your check in the collec�on basket or mail them to the office at 212 Sta�on Street,

Bridgeville, PA 15017�

Announcement to All Parishioners:�

At a joint mee�ng of our Parish’s Finance Council and Pastoral Council on Thursday, September 2nd, Fr. Dennis Yurochko present-

ed a project proposal to completely remodel the St. Barbara Hall Kitchen and repurpose Capital Campaign Savings balances to

fund this project. We currently have a combined total balance of $348,456.90 from the Capital Campaign Savings accounts. The

current proposal for the kitchen design to convert the exis�ng outdated kitchen into a fully func�oning commercial kitchen includ-

ing walk�in refrigerator and freezer totals $314,709.00. The members from both councils were in full agreement and the proper

paperwork has been submi3ed to our Regional Vicar for approval by the Diocesan College of Consultants. The signed proposal

sent to the Vicar’s office on September 3rd is posted on our website at corpuschris"pgh.org for your review.�

Bishops Emergency Disaster Fund�

This weekend, September 18�19, we have been asked to have a special second

collec�on to support the Bishops Emergency Disaster Fund. This fund serves to

support the pastoral and reconstruc�on efforts of the Church through the local

agencies of Catholic Relief Services and Catholic Chari�es USA in responding to

immediate needs around the globe. The efforts of this collec�on will aid the Hai-

�an communi�es recently hit with a catastrophic earthquake and tropical storm

which caused immense damage.�
