Acquire Some New Tools  

Begin to have you view tradi<onal tools outside the box and recognize 

new tools in  a different way.  

Use the tools that work for you the way  you want to use them.  

The tools do not control you.  

You control which ones you are going to use and how you are going to use them.  

If you are following standard levels of professional conduct and company policies in your sourcing efforts,     when you deliver a candidate to a hiring manager do they care how      

you got there?

•  Has the tool changed since I first used it? Technology and people change – can I get demo or re‐trained? Especially for paid and Beta tools.  

Budget 

•  Is this worth the money?  

•  Do I have <me in my plan or the skill to find a less expensive or free tool?  

•  Do I need a new tool or a person to do the work?  

Skill 

•  Am I actually going to use this?  

•  It might be right for others but is it right for my search and my comfort level?
