Project Overview

Widening & resurfacing SR 94 including I-76 bridge

Great Oaks Trail & Park Centre realigned

Access management improvements

2016 Construction Season

• SR 94 Mainline – May to June

– Continue utility relocation

– Drainage work south of Interstate 76

– Installing water line south of Interstate 76

– Installing new traffic signals

– Minimum of single lane in each direction will be

maintained at all times with turn lanes

– Continue installation of traffic signals

– Widen east side of SR 94

• Single lane in each direction will be maintained

• Center turn lane

• I-76: Shoulder closures

• I-76: Temporary lane closures in off-peak hours

• SR 94: 4 Lanes maintained on bridge

2016 Construction Season

• Reminders during construction:

– If your business experiences an interruption in

utility service as the companies relocate their

utilities within ODOT’s right-of-way, please

contact your utility provider immediately.

– Leave the utility flags and survey laths in place

and please communicate this to any 3rd party

landscaping companies.

Taking Care of Your Business

• Remain Customer Focused:

– Ensure your front line sales staff are up to date

on the construction progress, especially when

local roads are closed to remind callers

– Include information on your website or in

marketing materials by linking to the project

website

– Communicate with neighboring businesses for

possible partnerships, such as cooperative

advertising, promotions or joint activities

– Work with employees to make sure the customer

contacts about the traffic impacts are upbeat and

focused on the final construction product
