The Project

•It’s a project that focuses on photography as a starting point for the use of storytelling techniques and communication in a foreign language.

What We Aimed?

•To encourage students to take a pro-active attitude and to use the language outside the sometimes confining walls of the classroom in a real life communication exchange.

What We Aimed?

•We wanted our students to develop their creative skills by collaboratively producing visual and linguistic messages, using a variety of ICT tools.

What We Aimed?

•We wanted our students to become more adept at crafting and conveying messages by reinforcing their media awareness skills as well as their linguistic prowess in a playful, cooperative, non-formal environment.

A photo was taken by teams in each country.

Photos were exchanged. Teams wrote a story for the picture they received from the other country.

Stories were published as an e-book.

Main Activities- Creating Characters

We met online for the 3rd chat session.

Ss in teams of four (2 Turkish + 2 Romanian) asked & answered questions to form story characters.

The characters appeared in the excellent movie, built by our talented students.

Main Activities- Write & Record A Story

3 photos were taken by teams in each country. Photos were exchanged.Teams wrote a story for the pictures they received from the other country. Stories were published as an e-book.
