What is ETS Criterion?

ETS Criterion is a computer-based scoring program designed to help you think about your writing process and communicate your ideas more effectively.  It is:• Computer based• Editing/Proofreading Tool• Encourages Critical Thinking• Enhances the Revision Process

Become a Better Writer!

The system has been calibrated to score essays based on a national average of college-level essays.  It will give you immediate feedback and provide guidance in specific areas that need improvement.   What are your strengths and weaknesses as a writer?

How Do I Get ETS Criterion®?

Purchase the access folder "COURSE SPECIFIC WRITING PRACTICE ACCESS" by "Criterion" at the Kennel Bookstore. You must purchase this item through Kennel Bookstore - either at the bookstore or online. This "ACCESS CARD" has the serial number you need to register.  It also has valuable information about ETS Criterion®

Don’t buy more than one Registration!

Please note: You only need ONE registration number per semester.     You can use this same registration for all classes that are using ETS Criterion this semester!   You ONLY NEED TO REGISTER ONE TIME.  After that, you simply ADD CLASSES to your account.

NEW this semester!

All Access cards purchased AFTER JAN 1 2011,  will be good for 345 days or 2 semesters. That adds up to a 50% discount! To get the extension, you need to purchase a new access card this spring - old cards from last semester will not be valid.
