This book is dedicated to putting the ‘man’ into manners and the ‘cor’ in decorum

2. how do •(you) •do?Ted’s never been a stickler for the rules of etiquette.

When people talk about ‘the done thing’ and the correct ways to behave, he’s always raised an eyebrow.

In his infinite wisdom, therefore, Ted’s opened his SS13 Finishing School: a sartorial establishment

where deportment is not that important… and where old-fashioned manners and exceptional

style always top the class.

As a wise owl once said, “Be the exception, never the rule.”

Ladies First… Ted has created a graceful and alluring Womenswear collection this SS13, replete with feminine elegance that’s sure to make the grade.

Weightless maxi dresses graze the floor in an array of colour and print, whilst the signature treasured orchid print shines with spring/summer sensuality.

Ted’s vintage-inspired floral print takes the essence of a French wallpaper design of delicate posies and applied to an iconic dress, whilst the punchy Summer Bloom print – with unexpected acidic shots of lime and coral – brings 1950s day dresses and cute 1960s cropped canvas jackets right up to date.

This season, fresh printed denim ushers Ted’s prints into more unexpected areas, vibrant colours top the class with bursts of citrus lime and mandarin, and edgy combinations of fluro pink are paired back with pastel shades throughout.

Block heel sandals, bowler style or landscape tote bags, hard case exotic clutches and crystal faceted bangles (all in contrasts of bright neon or subtle pastel shades) offer the perfect line in accessories.

Schooled in precision cut tailoring and colour prints, Ted’s tailoring and outerwear is presented in subtle sorbet flavours this season. Domed shoulder silhouettes add a ‘boysy’ twist whilst slick tonic fabrics offer a smart, sophisticated look.

Mixing 1950s chic with 21st century style, Ted’s SS13 collection resonates with feminine charm and fresh detailing to equip the modern lady with a touch of ‘international savoir faire’, wherever she goes.

No, after you… For Menswear, Ted’s created an assured, smart and eclectic SS13 collection designed to separate the (gentle)men from the boys.

Inspired by quirky keepsakes rediscovered by Ted in his attic, the collection offers a symphony of colour and prints and includes a fine selection of lightweight pieces with smart linings, not to mention inbuilt pocket squares on all blazers completing the look, every time.

Chinos, denim and shorts are unpacked in a spectrum of bold colours (with the embroidered flamingo shorts and t-shirts a key print), whilst stripes and lively floral shirts teach a thing or two about dapper dress sense.

Knitwear includes Merino wool sweaters and summer Fairisle with fine gauge patterns which are both light and luxurious. Layering pieces such as shawl neck stripe cardigans, colour blocked polo t-shirts and bright neon sweaters stand out throughout.

Accessories feature a mix of leather and canvas fabrics in extreme brights across a class of holdalls, satchels and cases. Scarves come in a mix of paisley and mixed prints and, tilted just so, Ted’s trilbys give the finishing touch.

So welcome to Ted’s Spring/Summer 13 Finishing School: the smartest collection of menswear, womenswear and accessories crafted to pass with flying colours.

As Ted always says, confidence is both a state of mind and a straightened Windsor knot.

Schooled in the world of old-fashioned manners and contemporary style, Ted’s SS13 collection mixes bright colours

and bold prints with simple fabrics and smart silhouettes to teach a fashionable lesson in life.

Take a touch of 1950s glamour with a show stopping twist, and the stage is set for Ted’s SS13 Langley collection.

Inspired by vintage finds, the interior-inspired baroque print takes a starring role whilst sleek silhouettes act as a supporting cast of pretty spring pieces using oversized

broderie anglais, layered with elegant lace jackets.

Fully embellished and textural embroideries create both drape and drama, whilst the delicate feather dress offers a chic statement piece which simply radiates glamour.

Schooled in the art of smart, Pashion is tailored from the finest linen, silk, fine wool and cotton in classic shades.

The collection includes 1960s influenced, iridescent plain weave blazers and high shine linen and cotton

suits and separates.

Capturing a refined, relaxed aesthetic, SS13 also sees Ted go Debonair with a modern, dynamic collection

influenced by 1940s art deco. Key pieces include an elegant navy blazer in windowpane checks, red accents and patched

pockets, alongside a classic white suit – all presented in a showcase of summer pastels and super soft rich

cottons and natural linen.

Inspired by the graceful elegance of swans mixed with 1970s glam rock, Ted’s Global collection struts its stuff

with psychedelic linings and flamboyant zest.
