To ensure uniform and orderly deployment of ambulance teams to serve the eight EMTF

regions in Texas~~~~~~~~~~

To provide supplemental emergency patient care and transport during large scale incidents

requiring patient movement

• 5- Ambulances per Strike Team• 1- Strike Team Leader per Strike Team in a

separate vehicle• All components of the strike team will

have common communications capability• Ambulance Strike team will have common

communications with other EMTF components, i.e., MMU, AMBUS, etc.*

The RN strike team component of EMTF-7 will be deployed to

augment staffing of a hospital in a ‘like-department’ of an affected

jurisdiction.
