A brand is an identity

• Ranching• Name, term, design, symbol or any other

feature that identifies your good or service as unique.

• Branding in business refers to the development of any or all of these to create a connection to your customers.

Develop your brand• Identify your personal mission statement.• Have a resume now & keep it current recent with

stepping stone & accomplishments. If you have few, seek them out.

• Workshop your elevator speech with friends(<30 seconds who you are, what you do/can do

and where you want to go)• Cultivate references

Accountability & PerformanceSpeak to potential references at least 1- month

before deadline.

Develop your brand

• Quickly identify interesting professional organizations.

• Exploit online resources to supplement your education.

• Create your own wealth of knowledge on the Internet.

Make a commitment to set goals and recognize your accomplishments and shortcomings equally.
