The Cherokee Nation Foundation (CNF) has many scholarship opportunities available through the online application. This application also includes the scholarships offered through other entities of the Cherokee Nation. These easy steps can help you in applying for scholarships

1. By visiting www.cherokeenationfoundation.org and clicking on the SCHOLARSHIPS tab you can access this application.

2. You can also access the application directly by visiting https://cherokeenation.academicworks.com. There will be a SIGN UP option in the top right hand corner of the page. Sign up and confirm your account through the email link that will be sent to you.

3. Proceed by filling out the General Application (click complete).

4. After you complete the General Application you will see the application is marked complete.

5. Once you see that your application is complete, the system will generate all the scholarship opportunities that you qualify for. Click view opportunities.

6. You must go in and apply for each scholarship opportunity individually from the Opportunities page. The General Application does NOT apply for any scholarship; it is a profile that will match you to scholarships you qualify for.

7. To check the status of your application after you have submitted it you can revisit https://cherokeenation.academicworks.com.
