Kley Reynolds: “ Travel is exciting and the experience should

reflect that; nevertheless travel can also be stressful and this

should be managed out of the equation.”

Train Operating Companies have to turn

travel, something seen as tedious, unreliable

and stressful; into something more desirable,

enjoyable and peaceful.

Satisfied passengers

are more likely to be

loyal consumers

The on-board

experience represents

a crucial factor for train

passengers to be satisfied

A train journey can be seen as an

investment of time for a person and

there needs to be a return on

this investment

I would like to see that the ambition level go beyond just running

on time and providing enough seats to meet the peak traffic demands. Where are

the connectivity and power plugs? A lot of trains offer Wi-Fi, but this does not work

well or at all”
