house for homecoming party

Sally Mander (continued) • Physical Exam:

• 0.5 mm papules and pustules located primarily on the trunk... There a few on the extremities... none on the face or scalp

• some of these papules were tender to palpation

Answer: Pseudomonas (Hot Tub) Folliculitis

• Pseudomonas serotypes O-11 or O-9 • Psedomonas overgrowth is a result

of inadquate chlorination • Treatment:

• 2.5% acetic acid (vinegar) topically… yep, plain old white vinegar compresses… this works great!

• topical garamycin
