Features

Map ChartWiththeMapChart,sampledatacanbeplottedforgeographicalreference.Themarkerscanbeformattedtocharacterizedatabycolor,shape,andsize.Ifdesired,rulescanbecreatedtocolordatabyspecifiedcontaminantranges.Locationdatacanbeoverlaidonanimagevs.astandardmapbysimplyuploadingthefileandcreatingyourowncustomcoordinates.TheMapChartcanbeseeninthetoprightcornerofFigure1.

Pie ChartsThePieCharts,whichcanbeseeninthetopleftcornerofFigure1,areseparatedbysamplelocation.Thisfeatureisknownastrellising.Thesechartscanbeformattedtocolor,aswellassetthesectorsize,byagivencolumnfromthedatatable.Thisfunctionalityallowsyoutoviewselectcontaminantratiosincomparisontoeachlocationofinterest.

Combination ChartACombinationChartprovidesyouwiththeabilitytoviewtrendsinyourdatathatmaynotbeasevidentinothervisualizations.Bothlinesandbarscanbeusedtodenoteyourdatainthefashionyoufeelrepresentsitbest.Ifdesired,horizontallinescanbeaddedtothecharttodisplaytheaverageresultforeachcolumnofdata.TheCombinationChartcanbeseeninthebottomleftcornerofFigure1.

Scatterplots2DScatterplotshavebeencreatedtotargetsuspectsampledata.Acolorbyrulehasbeenimplementedtocolorallresultvaluesaboveaspecifiedlimitredandallthosebelowgreen.Ahorizontallinehasalsobeenaddedatthecontaminantlimitvalueforquickreference.ThemetalofchoicemayeasilybechangedthroughtheselectionpanelalongtheY-axis.ThesevisualizationsareshowninFigure2.

InteractivityEachvisualizationhasbeencreatedfromthedatawithintheSpotfireInorganicWaterv1DataTablemeaningeachvisualizationhasthecapabilityofinteractingwiththeothers.AuniqueshowcaseofthisfeatureisthatdatadisplayedaboveacontaminantlimitinaScatterplotcanbehighlightedandeasilyanalyzedthoughdrilldownofthevisualizationsonotherpagesofthedashboard.Simultaneousmarkingmakesiteasytopinpointsuspectdataatanystepofyouranalysis.

Instructionsareincludedonthefinalpageofthedashboardtoguideyouthroughuploadingandcustomizingyourwaterqualitydata.
