Pieniny - mountain range in southern Poland and northern Slovakia, that is the highest part of a long belt of limestone rocks (Pieniny Klippen Belt).Two gorges of Dunajec make the Pieniny are split into 3 parts:Pieniny Spiskie - between of Białka Valley and of gorge of Dunajec near NiedzicaCentral Pieniny (Pieniny appropriate) - from Niedzica to the Dunajec Canyon between the Sromowce Niżne and Szczawnica (in Polish borders). The highest peak - Trzy Korony Small Pieniny - reaching to the valley of Poprad

Tatry - highest mountain range in the chain of the Western Carpathians.Tatras on the Polish side are divided into:Western Tatras - the highest peak - Starorobociański Wierch, 2,176 m above sea level High Tatras - the highest peak is the north-west top of the Rysy - 2,499 m above sea-levelThe Tatras are protected by the establishment in their area of the Tatra National Park
