Dear All Saints Prayer Shawl Ministry, Until we received this beautiful shawl, we didn’t realize how comforting it would be to our entire family. We will always treasure it
and greatly appreciate your kindness and this beautiful shawl. May your ministry be blessed for thinking of us as we mourn mom’s death.

MASS INTENTIONS
www.allsaints-parish.com___________________________ August 8, 2021 Kathy, Cindy and the VBS TEAM would like to say,
Thank you to Lucius Door Co. for the many, many years of supplying All Saints VBS with cardboard for our de-cor. You made our job so much easier. Thank you.
VBS 2021 is in the books and was a success again this year! We had 75 kids signed up to attend, we averaged 70 per night. The weather coop-erated, and without the help of many our pro-gram would not have been successful. I would like to thank the VBS Team Kristin Wood, Sara Elchert, Deanna Hohman, and Jessica Guern-sey. All the weeks and hours of prep time for four wonderful nights.
Thanks to John Wood, Brittany Kelbley, Ashley Staib, Dan Borer, for their assistance at the different stations.
Thanks to our group lead-ers, Sarah Painter, Katie Kiesel, Danielle Clouse, Jessica Kohl, Emily Brickner, Kristin Cole-man, Rachel Snyder, Sara Elchert, Shirley Lucius.
Thanks to our teen help-ers, Ashley and Nicole Elchert, Kolt and Karson Prator, Isabelle, Hannah and Isaiah Wood, Claire Daniel, Cade Haman, JoJo Nye, Jessica Nye and Addy Graham.
Special thanks to Fr Tim for attending and being a presence to the children. The children really do love having you there.
All Saints Parish____________________________________ August 8, 2021 UTV paper tickets are available at
the festival ticket booth. Online raffle tickets are also
available. Raffle runs until
9:30 pm August 8th.
For online tickets please go to: ALLSAINTSFESTIVAL.RALLYUP.COM and scroll down the page to the current raffle item to purchase tickets or visit our All Saints Facebook Page: All Saints Festival New Riegel
Cost per ticket is $10.00
What is Rally Up and How Does it Work Rally Up is a website that allows us to run raffles online. You can navigate to the site through Facebook and search for the All Saints Festival New Riegel page or use this link for the current raffle: allsaintsfestival.rallyup.com/ 2021polaris500 When you enter the page, scroll down to view the latest raffle. Within the site you can select the tickets you wish to purchase. The pre-Festival raffles are fundraisers that we use to sell tickets online only. Just like the Big Ticket Raffle (6 tickets for $5.00), you can get more entries for your $ if you donate higher amounts. In addition, if you promote to others online, or provide a do-nation to support the cost of their services, you can earn additional entries.

We are seeking to build a team of leaders for grades 10-12. Hoping to have a team where
you would have possibly two classes per year. If you would be interested in sharing your faith and possibly learning some new
things along the way, please call the parish office 419-595-2567.
Leave a message for Kathy or Cindy.

To those of you who asked for or
are wanting a book copy of the
pictorial directory. Please give us a
little while longer. We are starting with the online
directory first and allow people to
update their own pictures and
information. We are also hoping to get more family
pictures submitted so our book is
more complete. We have 194 pictured so far. We will let
you know when we are ready to print
the book.
What’s Your Hearth Cake? “Get up and eat, or the journey will be too much for you.” I’ve been to a lot of meetings in my years of work in the Church, and you can take my word for it: the ones with snacks just seem to go better.
I don’t know what it is exactly. Maybe it’s just that people are in a more agreeable mood if you show up with donuts. Or maybe it’s about the very real sense of community and cama-raderie that is created at a table where people are engaging in that most human of tasks — eating — beside one another. I think a big part of it comes down to the simple fact that we’re all just nicer people when we’re fed. This rings true spiritually, too. We simply must remain fed if we, in turn, are to feed others. Think of a time when you have neglected your relationship with God — when you haven’t fed yourself with whatever it is that you need to remain commit-ted to the journey of a Christian life. Is it Mass attendance? Is it prayer or Scripture reading? Is it time with your small group, or conversation with a trusted friend who knows your soul? What sustains your ability to be a good disciple, a good steward? What inspires you to give more freely, to love more abundantly? Whatever it is, that’s your hearth cake. That’s your jug of wa-ter. Don’t neglect it. The Angel of the Lord is nudging you in your sleep: “Get up and eat, or the journey will be too much for you.”
