Justice K S Hegde

Founder Justice K S Hegde (1909 – 1990) – Born in Kowdoor village on June 16, 1909, Kowdoor Sadananda Hegde had his early education at Karkala and Mangaluru.

DR. NITTE SHANKARA ADYANTHAYA(1905 TO 1962)

Dr. Shankara Adyanthaya always wanted to start a high school in Nitte as he had a special affection for its people. This interest in rural education and the motivation of his sister Meenakshi Hegde, the wife of Justice K S Hegde, Founder of Nitte Education Trust, paved the way for starting schools and colleges to be named after him.

Chancellor, Nitte University

Sri N V Hegde, Chancellor, Nitte University is an eminent industrialist and

the President of the Nitte Education Trust. He has also been the Chairman

of the Board of National Institute of Technology, Surathkal, Karnataka,

appointed by the HRD Ministry, Government of India. Mr. N V Hegde has

been the Chairman of the Coastal Agenda Task Force constituted for the

development of coastal districts by the Government of Karnataka.

Dr. N.R Shetty (Former VC, B.U)

Dr. N.R Shetty is an eminent educationist and is the guiding spirit and

inspiration for Dr. NSAM FGC. He is the former president of Indian Society

for Technical Education, New Delhi. He is also Vice-President of

International Federation of Engineering Education, Societies, Washington

D.C, USA and President of Forum of VC of State Universities of Karnataka.

Mr. Rohit Punja is a man of vibrant profile. He holds anengineering degree in Computer Science from theUniversity of Wisconsin and an MBA from San Jose StateUniversity.

1999, launched its educational campaign in Bangalore by establishing the Dr. Nitte Shankara Adyanthaya Memorial First Grade College at Mylappanahalli, Shivakote , Hesaragatta Hobli, Bangalore. The College is affiliated to the Bangalore Central University.
