- What is in the college library? What can you do in the college library? What is a library?

- A library can be a building or a special room in a building. Or, a library can be a website or place on the Internet. What is a library ? A library is a special place for students and people who love reading.

- The library has information in many forms. For example, the library has books. What is in the college library?

- For example, there are dictionaries. There are many different kinds of books in the college library.

- There are story books, also called graded readers. T here are encyclopedias.

- Just to name a few. There are travel books, computer books and art books.

- We call these E-Books. You can read some books directly on a computer.

- No ! There are many other things in the college library. But, are books the only things in the library?

- It has newspapers. It has maps. The library has magazines.

- The library has CDs. The library has special academic kits for teachers and students. The library has DVDs.

- Of course, you can read and study. Also, you can use a computer. What can you do in the library ?

- You can listen to a CD. Or, you can make photocopies & scan something. You can watch a DVD in the library.

- The college library has a website you can use in the library or from home. There are online dictionaries, encyclopedias, magazines & many other things.

- Do not shout or call your friends across the room. First of all, please be quiet in the library. Next, please do not use mobile phones in the library.

- Mice and bugs will come to the library for food and sugar. Please do not eat or drink in the library.

- Finally, remember to take your books, folders and pencils when you leave the library. Please, put rubbish in the bins.
