the corner I predict the recession will hit an all time low, consumers will want clothes that are sustainable and protective with a

fashionable edge.

With WW3 around the corner the consumer will look for items that will protect them and be fashionable. Designers will

create gas masks with a stylish edge and jewellery that looks worn. The materials used will be cheap or recycled due to the recession. Armor especially chain mail will play a huge

part in this trend, metal will be woven into wool to create body armor with a twist. Accessories will be metal based with

a modern angle for example jewellery will not just be an accessory it will be an item that can protect your hand

therefore rings will be attached to a metal glove, a stylish protection.

.Lived.

.This trend has emotion in it, people’s emotions play a huge part on how they dress. The materials such as wool will be worn. It will have shrapnel and bullet holes, be bleached and look rug-

ged. Showing the consumer is living through a war.

.Gentleman.

.The military suits from WW1/2 are so well made, the look smart and tailored. Designers will recreate suits from Tweed, Leather

and Hessian that will not have a disheveled look but more asustainable one, materials that can last through a war.

.I’ve shown all the key pieces for 2014, Protect, Lived and Gentleman are going to be popular trends. For a casual look I’d go with the trend Lived, its defiantly a day time look. If you

want a more sophisticated style I’d go for Gentleman, it can be dressed down for the day time but dressed up for the evening.

If you a more into standing out in a crowd then Protect is for you, teaming metal and wool will give you the confidence to wear it

anywhere.
