Who breaks the powerof sin and darkness

Whose love is mightyand so much stronger

The King of gloryThe King above all kings

Who shakes the whole earthwith holy thunder

And leaves us breathlessin awe and wonder

The King of gloryThe King above all kings

This is amazing graceThis is unfailing love

That You would take my placeThat You would bear my cross

You laid down Your lifeThat I would be set free

Oh Jesus I sing forall that You've done for me

Who brings our chaosback into order

Who makes the orphana son and daughter

The King of GloryThe King of Glory

Who rules the nationswith truth and justiceShines like the sun in

all of its brilliance

The King of gloryThe King above all kings

This is amazing graceThis is unfailing love

That You would take my placeThat You would bear my cross

You laid down Your lifeThat I would be set free

Oh Jesus I sing forall that You've done for me

Worthy is the Lamb who was slainWorthy is the King

who conquered the grave

Worthy is the Lamb who was slainWorthy is the King

who conquered the grave

Worthy is the Lamb who was slainWorthy is the King

who conquered the grave

Worthy is the Lamb who was slainWorthy, worthy, worthy

This is amazing graceThis is unfailing love

That You would take my placeThat You would bear my cross

You laid down Your lifeThat I would be set free

Oh Jesus I sing forall that You've done for me

All that You've done for me

Good Friday Family ServiceThe Testimony of the CrucifixionJohn 19:17-30

A Testimony of Unbroken Promises• The Lamb of God • The Perfect Sacrifice• The Remedy for Sin• The Friend of Sinners• The King of Kings• The Great High Priest

Family Questions:• Why do you think God told us

in advance exactly how Jesus was going to die?

• Could Jesus have stopped this plan? Why did He continue?

There is a fountainfilled with blood

Drawn from Immanuel’s veins

And sinners plungedbeneath that flood

Lose all their guilty stains

Lose all their guilty stainsLose all their guilty stains

And sinners plungedbeneath that flood

Lose all their guilty stains

The dying thief rejoiced to seeThat fountain in his day

And there may Ithough vile as he

Wash all my sins away

Wash all my sins awayWash all my sins away

And there may Ithough vile as he

Wash all my sins away

Ever since by faithI saw the stream

Thy flowing wounds supply

Redeeming lovehas been my themeAnd shall be till I die

And shall be till I dieAnd shall be till I die

Redeeming lovehas been my themeAnd shall be till I die

A Testimony of Unending Love “And standing by the cross of Jesus were His mother, and His mother’s sister, Mary the wife of Clopas, and Mary Magdalene. When Jesus then saw His mother, and the disciple whom He loved standing nearby, he said to His mother, ‘Woman, behold your son!’ The He said to the disciple, ‘Behold your mother.’ From that hour the disciple took her into his own household.”

Family Questions:• How does knowing God loves us

change us? • What are some ways we can

respond to God’s love?

The love of God is greater farThan tongue or pen can ever tell

It goes beyond the highest starAnd reaches to the lowest hell

The guilty pairbowed down with care

God gave His Son to win

His erring child He reconciledAnd pardoned from his sin

O love of God how rich and pureHow measureless and strong

It shall forevermore endureThe saints and angels’ song

Could we with ink the ocean fillAnd were the skiesof parchment made

Were every stalk on earth a quillAnd every man a scribe by trade

To write the love of God aboveWould drain the ocean dry

Nor could the scrollcontain the whole

Though stretched from sky to sky

O love of God how rich and pureHow measureless and strong

It shall forevermore endureThe saints and angels’ song

A Testimony of Unfailing Devotion “After this, Jesus knowing that all things had already been accomplished, to fulfill the Scripture, said. ‘I am thirsty.” “A jar full of sour wine was standing there; so they put a sponge full of the sour wine upon a branch of hyssop and brought it to His mouth. Therefore when Jesus had receive the sour wine, he said, ‘It is finished!’ And He bowed His head and gave up His spirit.”

Family Questions:• What is sin?• What sins would most people

have on their “list”?• Why is sin so serious?

When I surveythe wonderous cross

On which the Prince of Glory died

My richest gain I count but lossAnd pour contempt on all my pride

See from His headHis hands His feetSorrow and love

flow mingled down

Did e'er such loveand sorrow meet

Or thorns compose so rich a crown

Were the whole realmof nature mine

That were a present far too small

Love so amazing so divineDemands my soul my life my all

Lord’s Supper Service1 Corinthians 11: 23-26

And I hear the Savior sayThy strength indeed is small

Child of weakness watch and prayFind in Me thine all in all

'Cause Jesus paid it allAll to Him I owe

Sin had left a crimson stainHe washed it white as snow

Lord now indeed I findThy power and Thine alone

Can change the leper's spotsAnd melt the heart of stone

'Cause Jesus paid it allAll to Him I owe

Sin had left a crimson stainHe washed it white as snow

And when before the throneI stand in Him complete

Jesus died my soul to saveMy lips shall still repeat

'Cause Jesus paid it allAll to Him I owe

Sin had left a crimson stainHe washed it white as snow

Sin had left a crimson stainHe washed it white as snowHe washed it white as snowHe washed it white as snow

Oh praise the OneWho paid my debtAnd raised this lifeup from the dead

Oh praise the OneWho paid my debtAnd raised this lifeup from the dead

Oh praise the OneWho paid my debtAnd raised this lifeup from the dead

Oh praise the OneWho paid my debtAnd raised this lifeup from the dead

Oh JesusOh Jesus

'Cause Jesus paid it allAll to Him I owe

Sin had left a crimson stainHe washed it white as snow

Sin had left a crimson stainHe washed it white as snowHe washed it white as snowHe washed it white as snow
