With temperatures already dropping, make sure you’re prepared for treacherous road conditions with these myth busting tips!

Common Myth #1

When driving in snow or ice avoid using your brakes, instead use your gears.

Keep the vehicle moving in a straight line when changing speed.

Brake, accelerate and change gears gently and smoothly.

If skidding occurs always steer into the skid.

Steer in the direction in which you want to travel.

Fog lights are for use only in fog.
