STEP 1

First we’ll create the Christmas tree dome! Cut a piece of craft line and carefully thread and tie mini jingle bells along its length.Wrap the craft line around the Christmas tree, gently pushing it into the fibres so it holds in place.

STEP 2

Use PVA glue and silver glitter to decorate inside the base of the plastic dome. Allow to dry. Use glue dots to attach the ‘cork’ of theLED Light String to the middle of the bottom of the dome, making sure the switch is facing up. Use BluTack to stick the tree on topof the ‘cork’ so it is nicely centred and standing straight.

STEP 3

Take some cotton balls and fluff them out so you have a good handful. Arrange the cotton balls around the base of the tree sothey cover the ‘cork’ of the LED Light String. Make sure the light string is sticking out so it can be easily manipulated.

STEP 4

Switch the LED Light String on and then coil the lights up and around the tree. Carefully place the dome over the top, making sureto tuck all the lights and cotton balls into the dome. Screw the dome shut and it’s now ready to hang on the tree!

STEP 5

Now we can make the Christmas forest dome! Print out the template provided onto cardboard.

STEP 6

Use a hobby knife to carefully cut out the design. Adult supervision is recommended when using a hobby knife. Bend the designinto a circle and make sure it fits nicely into the dome. Hold in place, remove from the dome and attach with a glue dot so it holdsit’s shape.

STEP 7

Unscrew the dome and brush PVA Glue into the bottom lid. Sprinkle silver glitter over the top. Tap off any excess glitter onto scrappaper and allow to dry.

STEP 8

Switch on an LED Tealight Candle and use BluTack to attach to the bottom of the dome, making sure it’s centred. Screw the domeshut and it’s now ready to hang on your tree!
