An Evening Prayer

If I have wounded a soul today,Lord forgive meIf words I have said have caused misery,Lord please forgive

Forgive my sins I confess to theeas I look above to you,forgive the simple mistakes I makelet the people I've hurt forgive me too

Please keep me from wandering astray,show me the correct path,let me follow in your footstepsso I may never face your wrath

As I bow and ask for forgivenessand tell of the love I feel,bless me and keep me from harm,and allow my sins to be healed

Thank you, Lord,For giving me today,Each splendid hour,To do with what I

may,Each cherished

moment,To use at my behest,And thank you, Lord,For evening and my

rest.
